KFM Consultants is a privately owned company which provides financial advisory services to Non Profit Organisations.
The company was born out of a realisation that Non Profit Organisations (NPOs) needed to make certain that their financial and operational management adequately and efficiently addressed challenges and reduced risk. This enables them to achieve their goals, be accountable to and gain the confidence of funding partners and other stakeholders.
In practice however we note that while there is a strong emphasis in programme management, financial management tended to be neglected thus threatening the very existence of NPOs.
KFM Consultants was therefore set up to:
- Assist Non Profit Organisations to establish and maintain sound financial and administrative systems, and
- Add value and improve the operations of Non Profit Organisations by assisting them to improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.
