Kudzai Midzi – Managing Consultant
Kudzai has 15 years auditing and financial management experience and as the founder and Managing Consultant, he has managed the start up and growth of the organisation from a one man band into a regional consultancy covering Sub Saharan Africa. Kudzai has carried out internal audits, financial systems reviews and provided technical assistance to over forty organisations in twelve Africa countries. Prior to establishing KFM, Kudzai served his articles of clerkship with Coopers and Lybrand, worked as a regional audit specialist for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and as an audit consultant managed the internal audit function for seven programme and three support offices of Plan International Zimbabwe.
He holds a BSc in Economics (Honours) Degree from the University of Zimbabwe as well as a Bachelor of Accounting Science Degree from the University of South Africa. He is an Associate member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors Zimbabwe.
Runyararo Mushore – Principal Consultant
Runyararo has a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) Degree from the University of Zimbabwe. She also holds an Institute of Bankers of Zimbabwe (IOBZ) diploma and is an Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) finalist.
Prior to joining KFM Runyararo was a Finance graduate trainee with a local car dealership where she worked in an accounting department learning all the accounting processes leading to the write up of the financial statements. As a KFM Consultant for the past 5 years, Runyararo has worked with over twenty local and international NGO’s in Southern Africa. She has been involved in reviewing financial systems, reviewing grant reports and assisting clients prepare for external audits. She has also undertaken system’s reviews, provided technical assistance to clients and facilitated financial management training workshops. Runyararo was also instrumental in developing financial guidelines for Trocaire Southern Africa. Runyararo was appointed as a Director of KFM Consultants in January 2009 and she is largely responsible for ensuring that our outputs are of the highest quality.
Thuthuka Mkhosi Moyo – Consultant
Thuthuka joined KFM Consultants in February 2008 from an International Insurance Company Zimbabwe as a Consultant. During his stay at KFM Consultants, Thuthuka has undertaken grant reviews and financial systems reviews for NGO’s in southern Africa. He has also been highly involved in financial management workshops for both finance and non finance staff facilitating more than 5 workshops in Malawi Zimbabwe as well as Zambia in 2008. Previously the company accountant in 2009 he was responsible for the grant management function of Trocaire funded Zimbabwe short term projects and was also the custodian of the donor’s admin funds for Zimbabwe.
Thuthuka holds a degree in Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Management with the University of South Africa.
Yemurai Mutebuka - Consultant
Yemurai, a registered public accountant, is an Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Zimbabwe graduate, with seven years experience in the accounting and administration field.
Prior to joining KFM Consultants, Yemurai has worked as an accountant for various organisations such as the Small Enterprises Development Corporation, Rooney's Hire Services, where she worked in the accounting department learning all the accounting processes leading to the write-up of the financial statements. As a KFM Consultant for the past two years, Yemurai has worked with a number of organisations in the set up and training, in the use of Pastel Accounting packages. She has been attached to the Trocaire Harare Office, involved in their Fund Management, covering the set up of their bank accounts, bookkeeping services as well as other administrative services, while the organisation was setting up offices in the country. In addition to this Yemurai has been attached to CAFOD , as a Finance Officer, providing donor reporting services for Cordaid, DFID, ECHO,EC and USAID projects as well as providing CAFOD partner financial systems support services. Under KFM Consultants, Yemurai has carried out internal audit, forensic audit as well as grant financial reports review for various organisations who work on a partner model.She has also undertaken systems reviews, provided technical assistance as well as helped organisations prepare for external audits.
Shiella Mudzingwa - Consultant
Sheilla joined KFM Consultants in July 2010 from a locally based Consultancy firm in Zimbabwe. During her stay at KFM Consultants, she has been responsible for reviewing grant financial reports for clients in Zimbabwe.Prior to reviewing grants, Sheilla had been dealing with the administration and accounting side of KFM.She dealt with different issues within the audit field. Her dream is to see KFM as the only provider of Internal Audit in Zimbabwe and be the leader in Africa and beyond.
Since joining the team Sheilla has reviewed quarterly grant financial reports of Local and International NGOs. She has also carried out the financial systems review of Mzuzu Health Commission. She has also been involved in the recruitment of finance personnel of local NGOs.In her work with KFM Consultants, Sheilla has worked with different clients in Zimbabwe, Malawi and Zambia.
Sheilla holds a Bachelor of Accountancy Honours degree from the Midlands State University. She is also currently studying torwards obtaining the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) qualification.
Owen Ruwona - Accountant
Owen joined KFM Consultants in January 2011.During his stay with KFM Consultants, Owen has undertaken grant reviews for Trocaire Governance and Human Rights Programme in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi, which has enabled him to understand financial services offered by KFM Consultants.
Owen assumed the role of company Accountant in January 2012. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Accounting from the National University of Science and Technology.
